I consider my installations to be “dimensional paintings.” They are made up of varying materials, mostly sheets of PETG and Mylar, which is hand- and laser-cut, as well as silk and plastic flora, and oil and Latex paint. Sometimes I’ll add glitter, tiny beads, or knitted yarn to enhance the overall composition. This work offers the viewer a peek into an unsettled environment or landscape, wherein perilous notions reside within nature’s bounty and beauty.
