installations

When I’m not making wall-mounted installations for clients, I often make them for my group and solo exhibitions. I enjoy the process of joining the pieces together to form one large artwork and then adding in tiny pieces to complement and contrast with the very large ones—it’s very satisfying to see the large, overall perspective of shapes/colors/elements next to the tiniest details. My installations may look like sculptural works, but their basis is steeped in painting practices, ideas, and textures.
